What is the Model Context Protocol (MCP)?

MCP is an open standard that lets AI assistants use external tools and data. Mokaru exposes a secure remote MCP server, so a compatible client can search jobs and work with your resumes and application tracker after you authorize it.

Which AI assistants work with Mokaru?

Mokaru works with clients that support remote MCP servers over streamable HTTP and OAuth 2.1. Our setup guides cover Claude, Claude Desktop, Claude Code, Cursor, Gemini CLI, OpenClaw, Continue, and Zed.

Do I need to be technical?

No. For most supported clients, setup means pasting the Mokaru MCP server URL and approving the connection in your browser. The docs include a short guide for every client.

Is there a REST API too?

Yes. The REST API is designed for custom agents, scripts, and workflow tools. It covers the same core job-search, resume, profile, contact, and tracker data using API-key authentication.

Does the agent apply to jobs for me?

No. Your agent can find and save jobs, create grounded tailored resumes, and organize your pipeline. You choose where and when to apply, so you remain in control.

Is AI-agent access free?

You can create a Mokaru account for free. MCP and REST API access require the Plus plan because they include advanced job-search and resume-tailoring capabilities.
